Updates for Tele Atlas maps are 4 times a year, much more frequently than the US Census Bureau's TIGER maps that are only updated every 2-5 years.

Printouts look more professional than TIGER maps since roads can be displayed in up to ten classifications, including interstates, state highways, arterials, local roads, and one-ways. This is very important for real estate agents and appraisers so that they can present properties in their exact setting.

Extensive enhancement such as waterway borders, schools and parks have also been added.

Maps are available for the entire continental United States, Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada.
